Love by the River

Photo by  Joanna Nix-Walkup  on  Unsplash One afternoon, Broody finds himself lying by the river.  When dried leaves rustled, he turned to find his lovely Elle. “Are you looking for someone?” Elle asked and sat beside him. “I think I have found her.” She took his hand and smiled shyly.  Butterflies jumped in his stomach.  He realized she’s about to kiss him. “How I love to kiss you right now...” Elle said. But Broody was quick to bring her face to his and drew her into a flaming kiss. Then he pulled away, held her tight and looked at her eyes. “I’ll always love you, Babe.”

Finding Forever

Photo by  Toa Heftiba  on  Unsplash Finally, I met her. While waiting for her at the mall, I was fidgety. But finding her smile within the crowd, I knew it was her. “Charlie!” she yelled. “I know it’s you!” I harked back. I held her hand for a shake, but she never let it go. “C’mon, let’s sing at the booth!” We sang together, had fun, and ate our first meal together. Then, she brought me to her apartment and lay down in bed. We did nothing but hug and feel each other’s warmth. “Can we be like this forever?” she whispered. I nod in silence.

Second Chance

Photo by  Artem Labunsky  on  Unsplash That was twelve years ago… Allen was madly in love with Zen. But she was with someone else. Now, she found him again in a bar in Canada. “Hey, you look familiar.” she tipsily flirted. “You still look lovely, Zen.” “Wait. Do you  know me?” But Allen left before he could reply. A few minutes later, a waiter came to Zen’s table with a note. “ Drink all you can, it’s on me. —Allen .” She was shocked, but elated. Before the bar closes, Allen receives a note. “ I’m happy to see you. I hope you’re still single, because I am. —Zen. ”

The Kiss

Arriah thought Dale was a coward. But when Arriah dared him to kiss her, Dale proved her wrong. He leaned on her and pressed his lips to hers. When Arriah felt the sparks exploding inside, she kissed him back. She couldn’t help but smile harder as they torridly kissed . “It’s just a game, Dale.” “Yeah, it’s just a dare I played well.” But at the back of her mind, she thought he was a good kisser. After two days, Dale came to her house, with flowers and chocolates, to ask her out. “I just can’t get over that kiss, Arriah.”

Love Under the Stars

Photo by Maarten Verstraete on Unsplash Michael and Grace loved lying under the big sky.  They fancied romantic stargazing together.  “I’m so glad you said ‘yes’ to me,” declared Michael.  “I’m happy to have found you.” “Look at the stars. They’re beaming for us.”  “Thank you, babe.”  “For what?”  “For showing me how lovely the world is under the stars.”  “And thank you, too.”   “For what?”  “For letting me know there are stars in heaven.”  “Someday, there will be three of us watching the stars like this.”  “Then, there will be four of us.”  “And five?”  “As many as the stars…”  They kissed and held hands.

Xarah, Teach Me How to Love

Photo by  Ryan Holloway  on  Unsplash John didn’t believe in love. He didn’t even want to get married.  At 45, he’s still a bachelor. But everything changed when he met Xarah. She’s the blind girl who sang at his mom’s 80th birthday party. When the party ended, John had to send her home. He held her hand into the car. That’s when a spark ignited. While in the car, he looked at her, mesmerized. “Why are you so silent?” she asked. “Will you go on a date with me?”  “John, I don’t deserve that…” “But, I like you.” “That’s compassion.” “Then, teach me how to love! ” THE CUTHING EDGE     CAPTURED       THE BREADIEWER       HUBPAGES A WALK THROUGH LIFE         AMAZON     BARNES & NOBLES

Laugh and Fall in Love

“That hurts, you moron!” She screamed at a guy who tried to appease her. I was watching them while I was eating my breakfast outside the cafe. Then, she slapped him and sobbed like a baby. The guy left.  She sat in front of me, crying.  “You guys think your girlfriends are punching bags, uh?” she murmured. I looked at her, chuckling in admiration. She’s cute and adorable, I thought. “You think I’m funny?” wiping her tears. “No, you’re adorable. I mean, you’re cute. Oh, boy. I’m sorry,” I retorted. She laughed. We laughed. We’ve been laughing for many years. THE CUTHING EDGE     CAPTURED       THE BREADIEWER       HUBPAGES A WALK THROUGH LIFE         AMAZON     BARNES & NOBLES

Corona, I Think I’m In Love

Photo by  Toa Heftiba  on  Unsplash The city is on lockdown... I was unsure if I still could, but I must go home.  It was getting late and my stomach was churning. I don’t know, but I later found myself in an empty Dunkin’ Donuts where I heard her angelic voice. Then, I saw her behind the counter. Oh! sweet heavens...  She’s Amber and seeing her made me feel like my shattered heart has mended. Before she could take my orders, I defied the tremors inside and asked her to a date. Her face turned red, looked doubtful but besotted. Then, she smiled and said, “Yes.”  THE CUTHING EDGE     CAPTURED       THE BREADIEWER       HUBPAGES A WALK THROUGH LIFE         AMAZON     BARNES & NOBLES

Somatic Game and Carnal Desire

Photo by  Dainis Graveris  on  Unsplash Full round breasts surprised my back, followed by trembling fingers fondling my thighs. I gasped as my blood surged intensely through my groin. I lifted and laid her down on a makeshift bed—gently drawing her knees apart and hungrily sending my tongue deep into her inner thigh. “Enter me now,” she urgently groaned. Covering her body with mine, we slowly moved to our heartbeats’ rhythm. As I increased my speed, she moaned in deep pleasure. “Harder! Harder!” she wildly grunted as I gave my final thrust of relief. I collapsed to her side. “You’ll play savage next time,” she whispered. THE CUTHING EDGE     CAPTURED       THE BREADIEWER       HUBPAGES A WALK THROUGH LIFE         AMAZON     BARNES & NOBLES

The Final Song

Photo by  Fernando @cferdo  on  Unsplash Sweet, lingering sound ends my prolonged slumber. It’s a melody that inevitably evokes heart-crushing memories no matter how happy they were because it’s the last song we made and recorded together. Ten years have passed and I still grieve for her passing. “That's unbelievable! You can't love me forever!" she quipped. “But my only definition of love and life is YOU…” I sighed. Tears of loneliness profusely rolled down on her beautiful face. "I want you to move on and live your life." Suddenly, the music stops. Glancing at the calendar, it’s May 5th. Move on and live your life? THE CUTHING EDGE     CAPTURED       THE BREADIEWER       HUBPAGES A WALK THROUGH LIFE         AMAZON     BARNES & NOBLES
