“That hurts, you moron!”
She screamed at a guy who tried to appease her.
I was watching them while I was eating my breakfast outside the cafe.
Then, she slapped him and sobbed like a baby.
The guy left.
She sat in front of me, crying.
“You guys think your girlfriends are punching bags, uh?” she murmured.
I looked at her, chuckling in admiration. She’s cute and adorable, I thought.
“You think I’m funny?” wiping her tears.
“No, you’re adorable. I mean, you’re cute. Oh, boy. I’m sorry,” I retorted.
She laughed. We laughed.
We’ve been laughing for many years.
