Love by the River

Photo by Joanna Nix-Walkup on Unsplash

One afternoon, Broody finds himself lying by the river.
When dried leaves rustled, he turned to find his lovely Elle.
“Are you looking for someone?” Elle asked and sat beside him.
“I think I have found her.”
She took his hand and smiled shyly.
Butterflies jumped in his stomach.
He realized she’s about to kiss him.
“How I love to kiss you right now...” Elle said.
But Broody was quick to bring her face to his and drew her into a flaming kiss.
Then he pulled away, held her tight and looked at her eyes.
“I’ll always love you, Babe.”

Love Under the Stars

Photo by Maarten Verstraete on Unsplash Michael and Grace loved lying under the big sky.  They fancied romantic stargazing together.  “I’m so glad you said ‘yes’ to me,” declared Michael.  “I’m happy to have found you.” “Look at the stars. They’re beaming for us.”  “Thank you, babe.”  “For what?”  “For showing me how lovely the world is under the stars.”  “And thank you, too.”   “For what?”  “For letting me know there are stars in heaven.”  “Someday, there will be three of us watching the stars like this.”  “Then, there will be four of us.”  “And five?”  “As many as the stars…”  They kissed and held hands.

Life and Love in Paris

Photo by  Hamish Duncan  on  Unsplash The coldest winter in Paris has just ended.  It’s been 15 years since I came here to start a new life. I wanted change, so I’ve to forget everything back home, even the most beautiful memories like my dog, Chico, and my bike. I miss my little brother, Enzo. And I realized, I miss Carri e.  But when I moved to get myself a cup of coffee, I saw another man, half-naked, sharing my bed. I sit by the window with a mug of coffee and see the first hint of sunlight. Spring in Paris is just perfect. The Final Song

Photo by  Fernando @cferdo  on  Unsplash Sweet, lingering sound ends my prolonged slumber. It’s a melody that inevitably evokes heart-crushing memories no matter how happy they were because it’s the last song we made and recorded together. Ten years have passed and I still grieve for her passing. “That's unbelievable! You can't love me forever!" she quipped. “But my only definition of love and life is YOU…” I sighed. Tears of loneliness profusely rolled down on her beautiful face. "I want you to move on and live your life." Suddenly, the music stops. Glancing at the calendar, it’s May 5th. Move on and live your life? THE CUTHING EDGE     CAPTURED       THE BREADIEWER       HUBPAGES A WALK THROUGH LIFE         AMAZON     BARNES & NOBLES
